Refund and Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your order. This policy explains your cancellation and return rights, and how refunds work.

14-Day Right to Cancel (Consumers)

If you are a Consumer (buying for personal or farm-personal use rather than as a registered business), the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason, without needing to give one. To cancel, simply email mandy@cosycalf.co.uk or call 01308 868 337 within that period.

Once you’ve told us you want to cancel, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us at Sandpits Poultry Farm, Drimpton, Nr Beaminster, Dorset, DT8 3RB. Goods should be unused, clean and in their original packaging where possible — you’re welcome to inspect them as you would in a shop, but signs of use beyond that may result in a deduction from your refund to reflect the reduction in value.

You are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless we agree otherwise or the goods are faulty (see below).

Refunds

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or, if earlier, evidence that you’ve sent them back), using the same payment method you used to order. This includes the standard delivery cost you paid, but not any express delivery upgrade.

Faulty, Damaged or Wrongly Described Goods

If your jacket or rug arrives faulty, damaged, or doesn’t match its description, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in addition to the 14-day right above:

  • First 30 days: you can request a full refund or replacement.
  • After 30 days: you can request a repair or replacement; if that isn’t possible or doesn’t fix the problem, you can request a refund.

Please tell us within a reasonable time of noticing the fault, ideally with a photo, and we’ll cover reasonable return postage for confirmed faults.

Business / Trade Orders

If you’re ordering as a registered business (not as a private individual), the 14-day cancellation right above doesn’t apply by law, and returns of correctly supplied goods are at our discretion — please contact us and we’ll do our best to help. Your rights for faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected.
